A lot of the crowd didn't know what to make of Phil and Ned.
This recording is very close to how I recall the show sounding.
Subject: Truckin' 31 minutes
Subject: Truckin'!
Phil is on point on this night. I had to stop listening to it as one point just to breathe deep and thank the Lord for Phil!
This Truckin' is insane. I'm usually not a big fan of the song and when I saw the 31 minute run time, I was tempted to skip it. But this is one of the finest jams I've heard. Keeps moving and shifting. Did I mention Phil Lesh?!?!? Some real exploration and fun happening here.
The playing throughout this set is great. I even liked Promised Land which is usually just skipable filler 99% of the time for me but Jerry lights it up!
Subject: The Definitive Scarlet Begonias
This is the best-sounding version.
Subject: Messrs Lesh & Lagin impress with performance of improvised, electronic programmatic music
Subject: Nice Show
Subject: Philly 74'
Subject: thanks Dave
